Logitech Z-2300

Tuesday, April 10th, 2007

The speaker jack from Logitech that was launched earlier, Z-2200 was not able to influence its users with the performance. Though it was having spectacular features, it left the people a bit annoyed. The main reason behind this annoyance was it used hardwired cables for speakers rather than going for quick connect jacks. Keeping this all in view company decided to launch new speaker with relatively more advanced features.

The company has now come up with its new speaker jack, Z-2300 2.1. This can be taken as the improved version of its prior Z-2200 model. The performance that the new speakers from Logitech have given is simply beyond expectations.

Maximum specifications are that same which the company used in its previous speakers. This time, the company has given main emphasis on the speaker’s frequency and woofers. The new Z-2300 keeps hold of THX certification of Z-2200 and maintains that same speaker frequency of 35Hz to 20 KHz and subwoofer of 120 watts with ground-ratting power. The headphone access, volume control and standard sub functions are still offered by the remote. The massive change can be noticed in the design part. It looks really stunning as compared to its previous model, Z-2200.

The previous model was very huge and bulky, so finally company decided to modernize its overall appearance. The company has worked more on giving it a sleeker and slimmer look. The speakers are kept still of same plug-style phase drivers for even frequency response. The drivers of the speaker are kept little smaller than the old model. They are just of 2.5 inches and provide that same power of 80 watts per channel that was offered by its older version with 3 inch speakers. We have also noticed that the outer body of the speakers has become more appealing. The body of Z-2300 is of black chrome color and come packed in removable dust cover, which is again kept black to suite the style.

The company has also integrated a video game adapter for providing comfort to all the gaming enthusiasts.

Conclusion:

The Z-2300 speaker jacks from Logitech offer tremendous sound quality and wonderful music listening experience. The investment of just $150 for these amazing quality speakers can be considered as smart investment of smart music lovers. The only thing that I can say about it is simply mind blowing.

The diNovo desktop package from Logitech comes with cordless keyboard, a separate number pad and a cordless mouse. This entire cordless package will enable you to work on the PC with first class style and comfort. What else can be more pleasing than working on an operating system like Windows Vista with the perfect Logitech desktop package?

It is really tedious to work on a keyboard that looks cheap and feels hard to press the right key, even the sound it creates get you feel irritated. So, if you have got bored of that same old keyboard that is connected with a long wire and produces that irritating sound, then Logitech holds something really interesting for you.

The cordless keyboards are nothing new to introduce with, infact the Logitech itself is making cordless mice and keyboards from years. Logitech is a trusted brand in this particular field. Now you will ask if the company is creating such sort of thing from years then what is the big deal in this new desktop package. So, to make it clear let me tell you that this is surely a big deal, as this entire package works on the Bluetooth technology.

The keyboard is sleek and compact and highly resembles a notebook keyboard in looks. The company must have surely considered the high comfort for right hand while creating this cordless mouse. The separate number pad that is offered with the package comes with dual functioning property. It can be used as a calculator and it display the temperature as well.

The Bluetooth hub enables the keyboard, mouse and media pad to communicate with the computer system. The Bluetooth hub is connected to the PC with a USB or via PS2. This hub also allows other Bluetooth activated device such as mobile or headphone to communicate with the system. Therefore you need not have to buy a card or dongle to transfer the files from your mobile to PC or vice versa, if you have this diNovo desktop package.

The keyboard requires 4 AA batteries whereas media pad requires just 2, which are rechargeable. The battery of mouse gets charged from the Bluetooth hub unit. The installation of entire package is extremely simple. There is an instruction manual which can be of great help in case if you get confused. The range is around 10 meters, which I think is quite enough for these three classy devices.

This entire package from Logitech of wireless mouse, keyboard and media pad simply adds sparkle to any normal PC setup. This for sure is something on which I would love to spend my money on. I feel it worthy and I don’t think there is any competition of diNovo desktop package for miles.

Logitech G7 Laser cordless Mouse

The company had launched its amazing cordless mouse MX700 in the year 2005 and that was a big hit in the market. After the grand success of MX700, Logitech introduced its advanced model in the market with the name MX1000. Now the company is unveiling its even more developed version in the market. The charge indicator of G7 cordless mouse indicates charging of battery upto five levels. It comes bundled with Li-ion 3.7 V 600 mAh “hot-swappable” batteries. If one battery has got discharged, you can put that one charging and can use another charged battery for performing the purpose. The slot for putting the battery is given at the bottom of the mouse.

The Appearance:

According to me Logitech knows the perfect art to design the mouse. The G7 cordless mouse is given a ‘bean’ shape and this shape surely holds a notion behind it. This shape basically provides high comfort and grip to the right hand. Its color combination is really attractive. It has very pleasing sliver color on the tip and olive green color on the grips. Almost all the minute factors regarding the shape and look have been considered and been improved in this latest version. One cannot put any question on the design of this attractive cordless mouse.

A new feature that has been introduced in this mouse is a small LED indicator. This indicator basically shows the status of the battery and is positioned on the left surface of the mouse. It also displays the cpi setting on which the mouse is presently positioned.

The software SetPoint gives admittance to all the adjustments and features in this cordless mouse. It also permits you to organize the programmable keys, set the sensitivity and cpi and to create different gaming profiles. Its software is accessible only on windows XP operating system.
