Krome Spy Launched

Krome is an Australian company. This company has recently introduced a new PDA windows Mobile with the title Spy. It is world’s smallest PDA enabled with Microsoft Windows.

Currently, the Krome Spy is launched only in the country. It is estimated that it will be launched internationally by next month. The target users of this phone are business travelers. The phone includes MSN messenger, Organizer, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Windows Media Player 10 and 1.3Mega pixel camera.

The physical dimensions of the phone are 5.8 x 10.8 x 1.81 cm and weighs 150 gram. The main emphasize is given on its touch screen panel, which is 2.8’’ wide and offers immediate response to the operator.

The hardware design of this PDA is same as like any Windows Mobile Phone edition. The call attending and ending buttons are just below the display. They are further escorted by a navigation button that also includes a nested key to enter and a shortcut key to in-built contacts applications and calendar.

The right side of the phone supports a stylus and a power button. Moving on to its left side, we will get a volume control slider and one touch access buttons for digital camera and notes application.

The front of the PDA gives a sort of black ash texture and has a ribbed section over the sides that make it comfortable to grip. The PDA supports a lithium-polymer battery that can be removed for any related purpose. The battery delivers a standby time of 180 hours and standard talk time of 4 to 5 hours, depending upon the usage.

For connectivity, it supports tri-band GPRS/GSM unit. For memory it has RAM of 64MB. The PDA has 416MHz Intel PXA272 processor and that is paired with the standard range of Windows Mobile Applications.

The Krome Spy will soon be launched internationally. It is estimated that it will be launched worldwide with an approximate price tag of Rs.28, 999 (US $667).
