Tuesday, April 10th, 2007

BMW has recently unveiled its latest BMW in-car multimedia system at Geneva Motor Show. This multimedia system offers a pleasing journey to the traveler.

The system can be loaded with audio and video files of the PC via WiFi while you are preparing to leave for a long go. You can also load the files on the way through a cellular link.

Unfortunately there are no sufficient details provided with the system that can allow the system to console itself. Other than that, this system has huge storage of 20GB that apparently allow storing the radio programs as well.

There is also no proper assumption regarding when this system will come installed in BMW. The company only says that this system will be available commercially within three years. Company also declares that the licensing or copyright issues are not the main issues to hold this project back.

With a PC- to-car WiFi connection support, the system permits you to pick your favorite audio or video files directly from the PC’s hard drive. Now these files can be transferred wirelessly into the BMW’s 20GB WiFi multimedia system.

BMW always says that very soon their customers will be able to enjoy all the multimedia contents in their like they do in their living hall.

This system is developed by BMW in cahoots with the European Space Agency and other group associates. This amazing multimedia system will available commercially most probably in the year 2010. Meantime, it is advised to enjoy the journey with an iPod.
